The Queen Adelaide is a Grade II listed building that retains many of its original features, including a beautiful central bar which both dominates and shapes the whole interior. 

Since its refurbishment in December 2008 The Adelaide has been converted into a modern 'gastro' pub, complete with open kitchen and dining room to the rear where an impressive feature chandelier sets the tone and is accentuated by wood panelling, a domed  fire place and retro wallpaper.

This theme is continued throughout the open plan building. Floor to ceiling wooden doors can be closed to provide privacy in the dining room, although we prefer to keep them open to encourage an inclusive and informal atmosphere.

The paved frontage to the pub has recently been converted into a fabulous garden terrace, complete with oversized umbrellas equipped with lighting and heat lamps.

We are now open for breakfast every Saturday and Sunday from 10am until midday.
