History Of The Bald Faced Stag

This landmark site in North London served coaches that passed along the Great North Turnpike Road in the 1700's and was rebuilt in the early 1890's. The major refurbishment that it underwent in May 2007 has brought fresh life back into this glorious pub and many would say it has already regained a superb reputation that is worthy of its illustrious past.

The numerous rooms are decorated in rich dark colours with a splattering of black and white prints on the walls of the area in bygone days. The soft lighting from a mix of retro chandeliers and classic glass candelabra wall lights sets an easy ambience that is enjoyed by an eclectic mix of customers.

The real features of this pub though are the new 80 cover dining room at the rear, complete with open plan kitchen and the huge beer garden that sits underneath an old sycamore tree.
